As a comic fan, it always infuriates me to see Joker included in a fighting game that has the likes of Superman, Green Lantern and Solomon Grundy, I mean, seriously...
Not sure if I'm happy with the centring of Joker's face. I loved the focus on Hero vs Hero this game was taking, it feels as though the Joker is being thrown in for marketing sake. As a massive fan of comics, I'm going to be purchasing the collectors edition, regardless of the fact I'm not particularly a fan of fighting games.
You can't compare Dishonored with Crysis 3, they have completely different Art Styles, I happen to think Dishonored looks gorgeous. Comparisons to Bioshock Infinite are understandable.
Blame the IP holders? It wouldn't be good business to allow another company access to your character for free. Face the facts, this game shouldn't have started development until all pivotal characters had been given the green light. This game is supposed to be a celebration of the Playstation brand and a tribute to the iconic characters of it's history, instead, we have a redesigned Dante (Marketing purposes), a Big Daddy, Unnecessarily TWO Cole MacGraths (One could have been an e...
The multiplayer is simply put, terribly designed. The atrocious spawning systems, lack of spawn shield, laughable hit detection, riciculously slow health regeneration, and, worst of all, it's complete lack of originality, it feels like a small scale, yet supremely buggier Battlefield 3.
I'd also like to note that if a title is reliant on multiplayer for sales, then why do publishers/developers insist of testing their multiplayer components last minute? Follow in the ...
EA, presumably, will have paid Microsoft.
I never particularly expected him to, although, he does visit N4G and read the comments (He often mocks the community's argumentative nature).
Wow, I'm literally in shock. Well, Cliffy's just recently gotten married, so, it would seem he just genuinely wants a break, something he hasn't had since his teenage years when he first began Video Games development as a career aspiration.
I'd just like to say, as someone of who's been playing the Gears of War franchise from day one, thank you. It's not only created the best gaming experiences of my life, but via in-game chat and the forums, has intro...
I was kind of hoping, as a twist, that on Capelli's return, he would discover that Susan, Jack and the rest of the group had been killed by the Chimera during his absence and to at least develop the story more. As Midnyt stated above, the game ends in the same position as the start, which makes the entire journey feel like a waste of time...
Gears of War 3, to me, someone of who has been following the franchise from day one, brought a fantastic conclusion to the trilogy. The games I believe are deserving of this title are:
- Mass Effect 3 (A trilogy of choices, resulting in a choice of colours, even the extended ending felt hugely disappointing)
- Uncharted 3 (Despite great acting throughout, the ending was completely throwaway)
- Alan Wake (Great game, terrible ending)
- Resistance 3 (Just, terrib...
And people say this site isn't biased. Seriously, this is beyond pathetic. Cliff merely answered a question honestly, he mentioned two games that he is not alone in having found disappointing, Rage lacked that id Software multiplayer touch, Uncharted 3 felt like a rehash of its predecessor. Don't criticise his games just because you disagree with his opinion, just maturely mention why you disagree.
And as for mocking Gears of War, the franchise revolutionised the Thir...
He was hyped for a game and it disappointed him, how is that interesting? Haven't you ever highly anticipated a game and had it fail to meet your expectations?
Why not? Wonder Woman and Batman are two of DC's most iconic characters and have had some hugely memorable fights in the past (Alex Ross and Mark Waid's Kingdom Come for example)...
Microsoft Published the original game, therefor they'd need their permission to port the game to PS3.
The original Halo, Halo 2 and Halo 3 are regarded as a trilogy, Halo 4, 5 and 6 continue Master Chief's story. There where 2 Star War's Trilogies featuring the same characters... I don't see your point.
I always said multiplayer was a necessity for the Just Cause franchise. This looks immensely fun and has that same unpredictability as Grand Theft Auto's multiplayer. I hope that if the rumours of the third instalments future release hold true, that as well as making the game more polished and refined (Cover-System, stronger shooting mechanics, better AI etc...) Avalanche Studio's seriously consider a multiplayer component.
Without the original being purchased by us gamers, Nintendo wouldn't even consider publishing the sequel, therefor it is down to gamers that a sequel is releasing...
Nintendo are publishing the game...
Oh it was undeniably a great move by Nintendo, I myself am not particularly interested with the Bayonnetta franchise, having found the original to be somewhat overrated, but I find Platinum's attempt at reasoning to be somewhat half-assed. Had they claimed that their search for a publisher was expansive and difficult, then it would have been completely understandable for them to accept publishing from Nintendo, but this is not the case. They claim they want to allow more people to experie...
Where's Gears?
